The world of Nyrondie is a world of great magic; in the High Temple of Istra, clerics heal the sick through the intercession of their goddess; on the isle of Keepos, Gnomes power mighty machines with the essence of Fire itself, harnessed by their greatest mages; throughout the Grand March, rangers and druids invoke the True Names of the animals and plants, and gain mastery over them. All of these diverse powers are known by one simple name: magic.
